How to Use

1

Select your country

Tap the flag icon on the left to open the country picker. Search by country name (e.g. "India") or dial code (e.g. "91"). India (+91) is selected by default. You can also type the code directly into the box - the flag updates automatically as you type.

2

Enter the mobile number

Type the mobile number in the large input field. Enter only the local digits - no leading zero, no spaces, no dashes, no plus sign. For Indian numbers, just type the 10-digit number starting with 6, 7, 8 or 9. Numbers you have used before appear as green chips below the field for one-tap re-use.

3

Write a message (optional)

Use the message box to pre-fill text that will appear in the WhatsApp chat box ready to send. This saves time when you send the same message repeatedly - such as a greeting, address, or product inquiry. The counter on the right shows how many characters you have used. Leave it blank to just open an empty chat window.

4

Choose: Open or Copy

Tap Open WhatsApp Chat to launch WhatsApp immediately with the number and message pre-loaded - just press Send. Or tap Copy Link to copy the wa.me link to your clipboard, which you can then paste into a website, email, or share with someone else as a clickable button.

5

WhatsApp Business (optional)

If you have WhatsApp Business installed alongside the regular app, turn on the Business toggle at the top of the card before tapping Open. This directs the link to your Business account so your message goes out from your business profile instead of your personal number.

Is It Safe to Use?

Yes - 100% safe. This tool uses WhatsApp's own official link technology called Click to Chat, based on the wa.me short-link domain that is owned and operated by WhatsApp / Meta. There is no third-party server involved at any step.

When you tap the Open button, your browser directly constructs a wa.me link and opens it - exactly the same as if you had typed the link yourself in the address bar. No data is sent to us or to any server at all. The entire tool runs inside your browser using plain JavaScript.

The Recent Numbers feature saves your last 5 used numbers in your own browser's local storage (the same place websites save your preferences). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can delete individual numbers by tapping the X on any chip, or remove all of them at once using the Clear all link. You can also clear everything by clearing your browser's site data.

We collect zero personal data. No phone numbers, no messages, no IP addresses, no analytics tied to your usage. This tool has no backend, no database, and no tracking of any kind.

Frequently Asked Questions

No - and that is the whole point of this tool. WhatsApp on your phone normally requires a number to be saved in your phonebook contacts before you can start a conversation. This tool uses the official wa.me Click to Chat link which bypasses that requirement entirely. You can open a fresh WhatsApp chat with any number without ever adding it to your contacts.
Keep the country code as 91 (already pre-filled). In the number field, type your 10-digit mobile number as-is - for example 9876543210. Do not add a leading 0, do not add +91 again, and do not use spaces or dashes. The tool handles the full international format automatically.
Yes, absolutely. Tap the flag icon to open the country picker and search for the country you want - for example United States (+1), United Kingdom (+44), UAE (+971), or Australia (+61). Select it, then enter the local mobile number without the leading zero. The tool combines the dial code and number into the correct international format for the wa.me link.
The Business toggle changes the type of wa.me link generated. When off (default), it uses the standard wa.me link which opens the regular WhatsApp app. When turned on, it uses the api.whatsapp.com/send format which is designed to open WhatsApp Business. Turn it on if you have both the regular and Business WhatsApp apps installed and you want to send the message from your business account and profile.
Copy Link copies the complete wa.me URL to your clipboard. For example: https://wa.me/919876543210?text=Hello. You can then paste this link anywhere - into your website as a chat button, into an email, a text message, or a social media post. Anyone who taps or clicks that link will be taken straight to a WhatsApp chat with that number, with the message pre-filled if you included one.
Every time you successfully open a WhatsApp chat using this tool, the full number (country code + local number) is quietly saved in your browser's local storage. The next time you visit, up to 5 recently used numbers appear as green chip buttons below the input field. Tapping a chip instantly fills in the country code and number so you do not have to type it again. To remove a single number, tap the small X icon on the right side of its chip. To remove all recent numbers at once, tap the "Clear all" link that appears at the end of the chips row. This data is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Yes. On a desktop or laptop, clicking Open WhatsApp Chat will try to open the WhatsApp desktop app if it is installed, or WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com) in your browser. You need to be logged into WhatsApp Web on that browser for it to work. The Copy Link option works on any device - you can generate the link on your computer and send it to your phone.
First make sure WhatsApp is installed on your device. On Android, if a popup appears asking which app to open the link with, choose WhatsApp. On iPhone, WhatsApp must be installed for the link to work. On a computer, make sure you are logged into WhatsApp Web at web.whatsapp.com. Also check that the number you entered is a valid WhatsApp number - not all mobile numbers have WhatsApp activated.
No. The message you send arrives like any normal WhatsApp message. If the receiver has not saved your number, they will simply see your phone number instead of your name - but this is standard WhatsApp behavior and has nothing to do with how you opened the chat. There is no indication on their end that you used a link or a tool.
WhatsApp itself supports messages up to 65,536 characters. However, the pre-filled message travels as part of the URL, and very long URLs can be cut off by some browsers or operating systems. For best results, keep pre-filled messages under 2000 characters. For very long messages, use this tool to open the chat quickly and then type or paste your message directly inside WhatsApp.
wa.me is the official short-link domain owned and operated by WhatsApp LLC (a Meta company). A link in the format wa.me/[country code][number] opens a WhatsApp chat directly with that phone number. This Click to Chat feature is publicly documented by WhatsApp and is widely used by businesses to add WhatsApp chat buttons to their websites. This tool simply helps you build that link quickly without needing to type it manually.
